About Matty
One man, proud of every job
Hi, I'm Matthew Acott, though most people call me Matty. I take on all aspects of carpentry, from first fix to second fix.
I spent 14 years with a fitted-wardrobe company, so cabinetry is where I really shine. When you hire me, you get me: no middlemen, clear communication, fair prices and a clean, tidy finish.

What customers say
"Matthew replaced wood either side of my garage doors and also made doors for a bedroom cupboard. He did an amazing job of both and left everything clean and tidy. Highly recommend Matthew and will use him again."
"Matt worked well, very professional and a tidy worker, fitted 5 doors in 1 day. He is a jolly good carpenter and a very polite gentleman and his prices are very reasonable. Would recommend him 100%."
"Matthew came and built us bespoke drawers and cupboard for underneath the stairs. The quality of the work is brilliant and it's solved lots of our storage issues. His communication was excellent and we will definitely have him back for any more future work. Totally recommended."
